Makers Club at The Queens Part Art Centre: 10 March 2018

Mixed Crafts

Two Sessions:

Kids Hour: Sphero Maze Challenge

Kids Hour is designed to spark imagination and creativity through fun, hands-on projects. Kids will explore coding with Sphero robots by programming simple movements, loops and more. Then they’ll design a maze and navigate their robot through the obstacles. Kids can take their own iPad and Sphero Sprk+ robot, or there will be one provide. Recommended for ages 6 to 12

Date and time: Saturday 10 March between 9:30am – 10:30am

Kids Hour: Making Movies Together

This Kids Hour is dedicated to exploring creativity through movie making for both kids and parents. They’ll start with brainstorming ideas. Then kids will practice basic camera techniques and shoot footage using iPad Pro. They’ll finish by creating a professional movie trailer with iMovie. Kids can bring their own iPad or they will be provided with one. Recommended for ages 6 to 12.

Date and time: Saturday 10 March between 4:30pm – 5:30pm and Sunday 11 March 11am – 12pm

Women of Stowe Trail: 10 & 11 March 2018

From a warrior knight to an all-powerful goddess, pick up a guide and discover the hidden stories of women at Stowe.

Grab your coat and boots and head to Stowe and take part in this self led trail, which is available from the New Inn welcome centre and will run throughout the whole of the February half term.

This is a family friendly activity, children welcome. Dogs on leads are welcome.

Owlette and Gekko from PJ Masks at Woburn Safari Park: 11 March 2018

Owlette and Gekko from PJ Masks will be visiting Woburn Safari Park on Sunday 11th March! Go and see them both at intervals throughout the day on the decking of the Mammoth Play Ark.

Once you’ve enjoyed your drive around the Road Safari seeing lots of your favourite wild animals, head down to the decking of the Mammoth Play Ark in the Foot Safari to see Owlette and Gekko. The brave duo will be making personal appearances at 11.30am, 12.30pm, 1.30pm 2.30pm and 3.30pm – don’t forget to take your camera!
